Who is Hathora not built for?

Hathora won't work well for persistent worlds or long-lived game types. Our architecture is optimized for match-based games, so experiences that require instances to be continuously up for several hours at a time will not take full advantage of our serverless architecture.

Hathora also does not support peer-to-peer networked multiplayer games. Our cloud offering sets up optimal central servers to ensure common concerns like security, cheating, and low latency are handled well.
