What happens when Explore tier limits are exceeded?

Hathora’s Explore tier is 100% free to use, no credit card is required to start evaluating Hathora.

There are 2 Explore tier free usage thresholds:

  1. Up to 100 vCPU-hours per month
    • When this threshold is reached, subsequent calls to CreateRoom will fail and will return a 402 error.
    • The threshold will reset at the start of the next month
  2. Up to 32 concurrent vCPUs
    • When this threshold is reached, subsequent calls to CreateRoom will fail and will return a 402 error.
    • Once the concurrent vCPU count falls low enough to fit the next CreateRoom call, then it will succeed.

You can check your account’s usage towards these limits by navigating to the “Billing” section in Console.
